2 classes/week + unlimited Open Gym – $139.99*
*Trials roll over to 12-month memberships. 3 & 6 month options available at alternative rates. Ask in store for details.
Can I Just Try One Class Instead?
No. But for a VERY good reason! The way Parkour is portrayed on TV and in Movies isn't exactly how it's going to be your first day in the gym. By signing up for a Trial Month, you get to give Parkour an honest try, starting with safety and basics on day 1, and getting into more complex skills and equipment later.
Less than 10% of people who try a single class come back.
BUT over 90% come back when they try 4 classes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can do Parkour?
Girl or boy. Old or young. Fit or deciding to get fit. Parkour is for EVERYONE.
We offer classes for ages 6 - 99. No experience necessary. Our trainers will assess your abilities and help you develop and move through our curriculum at your own pace.
How do I start?
Our Trial Month is the best way to try out Parkour. Try Parkour for 1 month with no commitment at a great rate! At the end of the month if you'd like to continue, the trial rolls into the matching membership and the rate stays the same. Decided that Parkour isn't for you? We're sorry to see you go, but just let us know and we won't roll it over. No fuss or hidden fees!
What are classes like?
Our classes take place in exciting, purpose-built Parkour facilities at both our North and South Calgary locations. They follow a structured curriculum with 8 levels, much like a martial art. You will work through different skills with our trainers to progress through the levels at your own pace.
What is "Open Gym"?
Although classes are cruicial for learning new skills, it's also important to practice what you've learned outside of class. Open Gym is monitored but unsupervised use of our facilities. Whenever we're open, you can come in and practice with your peers and even get pointers from higher level athletes.
What should I wear?
Any comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Clean indoor footwear is recommended, but some athletes choose to train barefoot as well. It's best to remove loose fitting and/or sharp jewelery.
Is Parkour safe?
Absolutely! In fact, Parkour has a much lower rate of injury than more mainstream sports like Hockey or Gymnastics. Like anything in life, if abused or treated without respect, there are risks. We highly recommend that everyone start with Classes to ensure they learn proper and safe techniques while getting dedicated supervision and instruction from our trainers.
When will I do a backflip?
Our most frequently asked question! The truth is, it depends. No athlete is the same, and with our curriculum system each athlete progresses at their own pace and will learn more complicated skills only when they are ready.
Is Parkour the same as it is on TV & Movies?
Don't expect to walk into the gym and be able to do all the same skills as the athletes you see on TV. But it's our job to help you reach your personal Parkour goals and learn all sorts of new tricks and skills.
